- Let them cool completely. Then rub the nuts between your hands. That should knock the skins off. Then in a blender make powder of it.
- Now heat a pan add sugar and water. Allow them to simmer until the sugar granules dissolve completely. Then add a pinch of saffron in it. Make two strings sugar syrup/chasni(the thread or sugar string between your finger and thumb doesn't break after pulling apart)
- Then add peanut powder and stir it continusley until it leaves pan.
- Then add cardamon powder and mix well and place the mixture in a plate. Don't let it to cool completely let it be slightly hot. Knead it well to form a dough shape.
- Now take a plastic bag and roll out between two sheets using rolling pin. And give them round shape like puri with round cutter. Cut the sides and roll the others in the same way.
- In a plate place all the puri and let it dry completely for 1- 2 hours. And it's ready.
But this peanut chaat recipe is very popular in streets of Surat, Gujarat.
