  3. In a pan, heat oil. After it gets heated, add a pinch of asafetida. Add garlic paste. Saute for 7-8 seconds. Add chilli. Add onions and spring onions. Saute it for a minute.
  4. Add tomatoes. Add all the spices and mix it well.
  5. Add mashed brinjals and mix it well. Turn off the flame and sprinkle some fresh coriander. Serve hot.
