  2. In a bowl mix salt and red chilli in yogurt and beat them
  3. Fry the onion in cooking pot
  4. When it become golden brown
  5. Pour the yogurt and stir it and mashed potatoes and mix it
  6. Cook 5 mins for low heat then remove heat and serve with chapatti

Smoky flavor can be infused with Dhungaar. Burn coal pieces until it turns red. Remove the burnt coal pieces in a bowl. Place the bowl of coal in a bowl of Bharta. Baingan Aloo Bharta is another bharta variety which is delicious and if you like bharta then this is of course no exception.
