- Get 500 gms Desi carrot peeled and grated
- Prepare 3 tbsp Desi Ghee
- Get 6 Green Cardamom powdered (seeds only)
- Take 1.5 cups milk
- Take 3 tbsp Condensed milk
- Take 12 Cashews, chopped
- Make ready 12 Almonds Chopped (with / without skin) (see recipe)

- Prepare all ingredients as needed.
- Heat ghee in a kadhai, add the grated carrot and saute it for 5 minutes or so and add Cardamom powder and continue cooking.
- Slowly the water of the carrot will start drying, now add the chopped nuts, keep some for garnishing and mix it and cook for few minutes.
- Then add the milk and cook for about 10 minutes or so. The carrot will soften a little by this time and the milk reduced by 80-90%.
- Add the condensed milk and mix again and cook for another 5-10 minutes. Keep the flame low and cook till the ghee starts separating. That means your halwa is ready. Turn off the flame. Serve warm garnished with almond and cashew. Bon Appetit!!!
- Note : *It's a lightly sweetened halwa. If you want you can add sugar or more condensed milk as per your taste. We prefer lightly sweetened halwa.
